hey people just a quick question, is the sunfire latch the same as the 03+ cavalier latch? i know the 95 - 02 are shorter. thanks in advance

the latch and the peice it mounts to are all different....

girl friend has a 04 cav and i have a 02 gt fire.. we did a front end swap and i had to take all of it

ok thanks, i figured that since the sunfire latch was longer it would fit, but i guess not. what i
did when i first did my conversion was to simply add a piece to my stock 95-99 latch, I welded a U shaped piece onto it and it worked just fine. but now i got a CF hood and have to use my latch on that one. some guy bought my old hood off of me and he also has a 95-99 cav and needs the latch, this is why i was asking. i guess ill just weld him a piece too, thanks
