all you need is 2 or 3 screws in each wheel well. thats all i have holdin' my trd sides on and their fine
Cant wait to see it done erik.
like they said - just a couple screws on eachside...here's my buddies mx3 w/ the bc3 sides......

But if you just put a few screw's in the sides by the wheel wells, and underneath, what is holding the top part of the skirt on, you are still useing 2 way tape right?

no. mine fit fine. buy quality stuff and you dont have to worry about crappy fitment. now if you feel the need to secure the door sill part than put 1 or 2 screws in the doors sill
I think he has the concern about the door sill area because there is onlike like 1/4-1/2 inch of material that goes into the sill area, not much.
and dude I've heard to use the glue used for windshields.

love the mx3...

thanks for the help guys. i was thinking to make a bracket to mount into the wheel wells, but then the paint issue comes up..and it just wouldnt look good. any additional pictures of skirt mounting (an skirt, not just BC2) would be helpful!

u guys got great ideas, some that i never even thought of. what i have always done, is just drill a bunch of screws in to hold them, then just put a little filler over the screws to cover them. thats what I used in my entire car, in fact, my car easilly has over 100 screws all over the place (widebody, rear bumper, sides, front)
hey the cav with the fiberglassed side skirts. is your car lowered? i'm getting a bc2 body kit put on right now and i want to know how low it'll be to the ground. i have the tien lowering springs on so i'm worried it'll be too low
Yes, my cav is lowered on coilovers. So it'll go a lot lower, but I drag too much as it is (back and front bumpers, never the side skirts).
I wouldn't worry about the sides, but my BC2 rear drags everywhere, no matter how slow I do. Those corners were just put there to rip off, I believe.
Anyways, that's why I'm selling my rear. Hopefully your roads are in a lot better shape than mine (AWFUL!)
bc2 is the lowest rear bumper. the fact that its fg doesnt help either
