I put a new set of hyperwhite bulbs in a couple of days ago, and have been starting to have problems. First off, when I start the car up and put it in gear, the DRL's flash on and off for a couple of seconds, and then turn off and my service light comes on. Secondly, when I put my high beams on, the headlight on my passenger side goes out. Other than that the headlights both come on regular as usual. Anyone have any idea what the deal is, or should I just put the other bulbs back in.
did ya break any bulbs while switchin it
i highly doubt its the bulbs..
thats just mho
Sure you got the right bulbs?? I know if you use the wrong size bulbs
it would do that...(9004 bulbs will fit in the 9007 sockets but they will do
exactly what you described)
When I had these crappy "Eurodesigz" Xenon's they did that. The lights didn't fit properly into the socket, they over heated, and I think they sucked regardless. Anyways, if they aren't snapped in properly, the car will register it that you have a headlight out and the service engine light will come on. Your best bet is to double check and make sure the lights connect firmly into the plug, and test them to see if you just have one out.
