i guess it would go under here cause i would be painting exterior parts with it lol.....
but i would like to know what you guys use or recommend to use for painting lets say a front bumper or a fender....like a 1hp 4gal compressor? or something like a 10gal something compressor? it would only be used to paint little things at a time.....like one coat, let that one dry, then another coat.....just wondering....if my spelling or anything is bad its cause i dont have my glasses on right now lol.....thanks guys......

yes you need a large tank. 4 gallons is way too small. I use a 50 gallon, but then have a secondary 35 gallon tank hooked up to it in tandem so that in total i have 85 gallons of air to use. you need a lot even though you are doing such a little amount.
i have a 32 gallon craftsman that i sold tons when i worked at sears... thats the smallest devilbiss recommends for painting. i did a lip kit and like its said above it runs 90% of the time youre trying to spray. a 60 gal tank probably would be a good idea

so a 6hp 22 gallon would be too little then?? lol.....eh
well i was looking around....and the couple of tanks I was looking at doesnt meet the requirements of the spray gun I was looking at.....like the gun would say I need 10cfm@70psi, but the tank would only put out 5cfm@90psi and 5.8cfm@40psi......so i dunno what to do lol.....maybe you guys could link me to what your using and works, and I'll just take after one of you.....
now mind you I wanna spend as little as possible, but I want to get the job done CORRECTLY......so lemme know guys, and thanks....
