i never used it but from what ive seen on here, people dont really use alot of coats on the tails because the more you put on the darker it gets and i dont know how much light will show through it. plus you also need a coat of clear on it or else it looks like black primer

i used nite shades and i used as many coats as i could till the can was empty and they are really black. But light come threw really good, The red shines throught really good even wen its really dark

My friend used i believe 5 coats on his tails. Which he screwed up big time runs and drips everywhere. I think he got it at a place called A&A auto parts. Dunno if u guys have them around or not.

I used it on my stock tails.
...and on my old cav I had used it on the tails, 3rd brake light, and bumper lights (the headlights have covers on them--don't go by that):

I used 3 coats, then a coat of clear. Make sure you spray about a foot back, and do it evenly!
Also, make sure you clean the lights very good, or the stuff will not cover evenly.

ok i went to test fit my tail light that i tryed the nigh shade on well for my liking it wasn't dark enough but some thing was werid i got these tails off a 96 4 door well on my tails theres 1 bulb but on these tails there 2 WTF

95 Cavaliers have two bulb tails. I thought that was the only year, but maybe some 96's came through with those. I like them better. It just takes a 194 in the outter socket. These do not blink with the directional. They are running lights only. I was thinking of cutting out the lens in this part of mine and molding in a piece of amber or clear, then making them operate as directionals. They would be similar to Toyo's, but a little different.
