you can't judge a car by pics..... thats alot to take into consideration, quality of paint... if the second car has st\ickers or vynal, the interior, how clean under the hood and wheels are (bnot just the cafe of the rim) hell under how clean the underbody is.... most car shows are about quality over quantity and you can't judge quality through pics on the net
I like number one better besides the side skirts, with smoother sides it would look awesome.
Number 2, I don't like the "wing", or the rims, or the grafix(or decals), I can't see the sides enough to tell either.
I would need more pictures to actually give you a true vote.

reason being that cav 1 drivers side headlight has a huge gap below it.

im just talking intial look wise.....what you see right there is what you get. The one with the hood closed left his hood closed the whole show and only opened it for the judges. So consider it stock.

I'm the opposite. Wing, popped (but not opened) hood, "bling" rims, graphics, painted sail panel on mirrors, the lil sleeve thing on the belts - I hate all that
As for the first one - well, paint the blue mesh black (gloss or flat), drop, remove door moldings, paint the mirrors (but not the sails), fix the gap under the driver side headlight, paint (or remove) the handles, than it'll be good in my book
They can both take some major hints from that silver Tibby in the first pic

The cavs both look bad. The headlight on the one and the bumper is all wavy between the headlights on the other one. To me chrome rims dont belong on a import-themed car with bodykit and other things of that nature.
If I had to chose solely on those 2 pics, not seeing the cars in person, Id pick the 1st one to win.

"initial look wise" doesn't win shows... it the details that do. And stock under the hood or not how phyically clkean it is is what matters. But for sake of this rediculoud thread I would go ahead and say #1 should win, the hood is open and apreas clean, the whole can is open to be looked at inspected ect.. he put some effort into the display, mirrors by the wheels, the sign under the hood, ect.. personally i don't liek either but car shows are about quality of whats there not what you liek the most.

car shows are all opinion based...even with a points check or list...
one persons clean is another persons not so clean...and one persons idea of a nice looking car is someones god awful looking car...
if a judge were to walk up to those two cars as they sit in their pictures...unmolested...the first one is my choice...anyone who has been to enough shows and judged knows what wins...
like darkstars said...hood open...able to see inside...trunk open...presentation...forget when you see in the pics...and stock doesnt mean anything...clean owns stock anyday really...
cav 1 wins...cav 2 should lift his hood...even if stock...just clean it!
I'd go with the first one cause they are showing under the hood and in the trunk. The second one may look good but why hide the engine ? That and the first one looks cleaner the stickers make car#2 look too busy.

the first one looks to be pretty basically modded. all it really has is a kit, rims and a couple basic mods. hell, it's not even lowered.
the second one has about twice as much put into it, but it's not perfect either. the front bumper doesn't line up with the side skirts at all, the graphics are gaudy, the wing isn't my taste, not a fan of the rims either...
it's pretty much a coin toss, since they are both good looking cars overall but both have what i would consider flaws... but i'd pick #1 over #2.
and before anyone jumps on me for my critique, my car isn't perfect either... but that's just how i view those two cars.

Does it even matter if you like a car or not o whether it wins? Well, atleast it should not matter. Unless they egt completely unbiased judges, they have to look over an entire show and most likely do not like every kind of car that has a category.
I guess I would pick depending on the category. If it is as wild of a cav, the 2nd. If it is cleanest cav, the 1st. If it is just cav, I would cry at what the others must have looked like. If they were the only two entrants, then that means the show needs to stop dividing down the categories so much.
If you win a trophy against only one or two other guys, big frigging deal.
