Has anyone else been waiting a long time for their carbon fiber hoods from VIS. I ordered my carbon fiber evo hood from them about a few months ago, and still nothing. They keep saying it is out of stock and they are having a carbon fiber shortage going on right now.

No, but i did order a CF Front Bumper from them last March. They said 3-4 weeks, 2 months later I got tired of waiting. They said it was done and it shipped, 2 weeks later, nothing. Then they said it never shipped and it was on its way. Week later, nothing. THEN they said that when it come over to them on the boat (im guessing the dont make any of their stuff?) that they recieved it broken and I could either have them try and fix that one or have them make a new one. Well, as you can imagine I just asked for a refund and told them to go screw themselves

no vis always takes forever to get their parts from. i got my splitter from them in 2 weeks though but thats because i went through one of their suppliers and not them directly

well i will tell you that if you plan on ordering anything from them, you will wait. but i will also tell you that it was worth the 2 months of a wait i had to put up with. the fit was perfect, and the quality is just unmatched from any other hoods i have been... just be patiant it will be worth it.

well before you go and bash VIS i got mine a while back and it took like 2 to 3 weeks. thats it.

well i just ordered one for my 04 sunfire, the invader, and they said they had the invader and the evo both in stock, and the company i ordered from said upto 2 weeks before i see it cause they are a little backed up

gotta say, the quality is worth the wait.

VIS makes nice stuff... my trunklid is a thing of beauty... makes me wish i had spent the extra $$ on the hood...

yea they make good stuff but they shouldnt lie to their customers about the wait
dont tell me it shipped yesterday and 3 weeks from now say u never shipped it

yea my hood was in perfect condition. got it from ebay where alot of their stuff is.
