Red, silver, or gold are the only colors I think Pontiac ever had.

Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.

The answer is really quite simple. Just by a small piece of black (or whatever colour you want) vinyl adhesive. Place it over the emblem. Press it down really well. Let it alone for a few hours and then very carefully using an exacto knife or razor blade cut the triangle shape out. The star or cross in the middle can be left covered or you can carefully cut that out too. I have done this on my car and on others. It turns out perfect and looks really good. Remember to let the vinyl stick for awhile because sometimes when you put it on it stretches and then if you cut it right away it may shrink and you will see the red colour around the edge.

Hey fellow j-bodian (sup Donnie), during my travels to the notherncountry (GMSC '05), I had an encounter with a carbon fiber Pontiac arrow with a silver border rather than red. Astonished, I was. Questions, I had. Answers? No, not many. But upon further investigation, trials and tribulations (I asked the owner), I discovered that the individual had purchased it in an ebay auction, but also included that the seller did not have constant availability on said emblem. I believe it was the member that goes by the name Evansville something, pardon me the correct name eludes me (I forgot). Hopefully you can develop a fruitful conclusion from my exciting story, and put-forth effort to solve thine predicament (find what you're looking for).

^ That's exactly what I did. I got some silver vinyl scraps from a woman who makes graphics for cars. Once I got the vinyl home I decided the ugly red arrowhead had to go. It's not perfect around the edges even though I re-did it quite a few times. Eventually I was satisfied enough with it to leave it alone for the time being. The vinyl has been on there for about two and a half years and it hasn't peeled up or anything. Eventually I will be getting it painted by a body shop so it's perfect though.

Bringing this post back from the dead. I liked ths stuff I saw posted in this thread, and got some for myself.

I went to ProStreetGraphics, and got a full set of emblems. I got the Pontiac arrow cover, trunk lid "Pontiac" and "Sunfire" inlays, and body side "Sunfire" inlays. All in the Reflective Blue color they offer. The stuff looks great with my car's color, and all fit great except for the e's on the body side inlays. They were a bit too small, so they didn't fit into the hole quite right. Other than that, it's a good product and they were shipped quite quickly.

I also went to GrafxWerks and got the marker light covers they offer, in light smoke. They were also shipped quickly, and seem like a quality product so far. Only complaint I have is that the light smoke didn't make nearly the difference I was expecting. If I were to order again, I would have gone with dark smoke. Oh well, live and learn. It was only $15 anyways, so I may just reorder sometime if I feel like it.

Anyways, just wanted to let everyone know that I recomend doing business with either of these companies, good product and fast service. I can get some pics up later, if anyone wants.
