Hey guys I was thinking if I got the Type- J front put on and I got a 2002 Cavalier Ls Sport w/ the stock foglights and I.....................

either want to put on the stock foglights on to the j-kit, cause I got some silverstars on there and I love em........Has anyone done it before and do you have a picture of what it'll look like???

or I was going to put some aftermarket foglights on the j-kit, but was wondering if I had to cut the wiring on the existing stock wiring, where the silverstars go on, in order to turn on the fogs from the same button inside of my car.......... or can I use the wiring from the aftermarket fogs and set it up that way??? If I do that, do I just leave the stock wiring on the car and tape it up somehow??? Does anyone have a pic of J-kit with aftermarket fogs??? Thanks!

you would be better of going with an aftermarket set of fogs. I have a set of blue eurolite's. to hook them up to the existing switch all i did was unplug the stock fogs lights and stuck the connectors from the aftermarket ones into the stock plug and used liquid tape(polyurethane) to seal the connetion from water and moisture. or you can to a auto parts store and find a adaptor and use that.

forgot to mention that they are round style fog lights. and bright as hell.

Also, ur car came with stock fogs? You musta switch bumpers then hey???

i just used the brackets that came with the aftermarket fogs. ya it came with the z24 fogs but i hit a snowbank and smashed it to @!#$. so i picked this one up for winter and the type j for summer.

Did u drill a hole in the crush guard or the crash bar in order to hang the fogs bracket on there??? If u can take a pic, it'll be sweet..........Thanxz!!!!!!

i drilled into the crash bar and used self tapping screws with a small pilot hole. here are two pics of the lights hopefully u can see them the lighting outside was really @!#$ty.first one is of the connection.
