will these outer tail lights fit a 95-99 cavalier?
yes, but they will look weird without the rear reflector because it makes the tails look bigger (like 1/4" all around the outside edge.)

well i know that, i'm prolly replacing the trunk and will get that reflector piece painted the same color as my car.

haha, that is actually my favorite taillight setup for cavaliers. It looks fantastic and really sets the car off right imo. Good plan man
