I would like to commission someone, moderator or non, to make an FAQ, either in here or electronics forum about the differences between HID's projectors, how to get colored bulbs, what size bulbs all the pertenant info about things like that. My searching turned up alot of info, but just made me more confused about the differences, or what can and cant be used. Also, the exterior FAQ doesnt go into really any specifics about that kind of issue, just that you can do swaps basically. also, just going into a parts store or online makes it even more confusing. I personally saw probably 4 different types of bulbs with different apadtors attached to them. Correct me if an FAQ on this subject would be pertenent and helpful, just doing my best to help out the JBO.
theres a post by 03_CF_Blues that was one of the best HID/aftermarket lighting write-ups ive seen. im still curious as to why it was never stickied!!!
Thanks that helps me quite a bit, but how bout a few hits to get someone to actually make a good detailed sticky we can use and wont have people like me groping your legs to tell them how to get purple lights?
well, i should have my projector lenses any do for my retrofit, and i plan to do a full step by step how to.......bad thats about all i can provide at the moment ;(

Bulbs with a color temperature greater than 10000k should have a purplish hue, but at the cost of brightness.

Illegal things never get stickied, that's why. HID are illegal if they didn't come as a factory option.
