I will be recieving a set of F1 Fenders and a Carbon Fiber hood in about two weeks. Since I have some time I've started to check prices for painting the fenders and just clear coating the hood. Today I went to a dealer, only place I made it to today but I will go to others later this week, where I recieved a quote of $700 to paint the HOOD and the fenders.
Like I said though, all I want to do is clear coat the hood. The gentleman I talked to wasn't sure what CF was much less wether it could be clear coated or not. Regaurdless he was still helpful.
So this is my starting point for pricing this out, but what should I be expecting the price to be around? Or, what did you pay when you got yours painted? I'm just painting the fenders black to match the car so it's nothing horribly time consuming.

Most CF hoods only come with a UV protectant that is not a clear coat. When you clear coat it it has a much better shine than before.

^ word up, my hood shines like crazy now that i have a good coat of normla clear coat on it.
as for prices on painting the hood and fenders, sounds like normal dealership prices... which are terrible... expect to pay that at most body shops. hit me up on aim ill talk to you some more... OneBadZ24
i was quoted $150 plus materials to clear coat the hood, and for fenders to just be painted and such your looking at 350-400. Atleast those where my quotes.
