What do u guys think about harley davidson mirrors on your J instead of the M3's SLR's and all the other ones... I wanna get rid of my stocks but the normal bolt ons arent really exciting me
Man I REALLY hate that. I am just hatin' on the part itself, NOT anyone's car. If you have it installed on a J, post pics so we can give it another chance. But those tiny little mirrors seem really out of place on a sport compact.

I agree. they look good on mini trucks though.

ya, i personally think they look like crap. ive only seen em on 2 J's, but neither looked presentable
i dont think they look horrible... but theyd be hard for a stock car to pull off. a dot jones' car can but his is extensively modded. and they still dont look great.

I know shape corners are illegal on cars since the 80's. good luck its your decision regardless what we say here.
those are horrible... imo it would look better if you used mirrors in the shape of the maltese cross, but theyd still be horrible

Thats the only two I know of........ I dont think they look horrible but I do think they take a lot of other stuff in order to pull it off just like these to examples.......now witht he harley ones I think same deal, you will have to play it right with other mods in order for it to work, and I would expect a lot more poor comments then good ones

well im more of a Mini truckin guy (last veichles 91 S10 and 87 blazer) so im goin with that kinda theme not fast and the furious more like drag and destroy... No CF this and fiberglass that i like Tweed interior and chrome..... my car will be primer soon after evrything is shaved...
^^no offense....thats your taste....but that might end up weird. thats like putting a 52" spoiler and neons lights on a 71 cuda.......but i can see that since your coming from trucks thats you style.

I think they look good i got them on my car but like what he says im more mini truck then fast in the furious look. The ones that people keep posting are not really even harley mirrors the ones that are chrome are thoughs look more race but thats my oppion i think they look good.
If you are going to do this mod, I suggest getting the quality APR mirrors. They are a little more expensive, but look 100x's better than the TCS ones IMO. Here they are on my car.
those are my mirrors, there is no rule in a hand book that says only billet mirros are used on trucks
if it`s don`t right and done tastefully anything will look nice, i love those mirrors, they go perfectly with my car and the scheme of my car
so i say go for it dude
