There is only one pic in your profile, you have to associate them with a car before they can be viewed.

I personally really like the look of hood pins, especially on a black hood. I say go for the pins.

You should pin the hood. I have CF but haven't pinned it cause I'm lazy.

I say don't pin it.. If your not gonna travel at 100mph all the time then there really isnt a need. When I had a CF hood, I just used the stock hood latch.

i want the saftey of the pins but i dont want them to stick out of the hood. so i am figuing out exactly how to do it, but basically a clip under the hood, with about a foot of cable atttached to it. like a secondary latch to catch it if it does come loose to save my hood and my car. just a thought tho.

So lets say that you are going down the highway at 65mph, and you hood decides to lift up and loose from the latch, the force from the wind undernieth the hood will break off any safety latch that you might have rigged up to the underside of the hood. So the hood still might fly up at you. just a thought.

I have had my jsp carbon hood on now for 2 years without pins. It does get alittle shaky looking at highway speeds but had never been a problem, also have had it over 100+ on long highway trips and never lifted off. I really dont like the look of pins, but if you like the look go for it. Dont think they are a must though.

Hey I got the rk sport ss hood for my cavalier and I was wondering if the latch can be lowered so the hood can be more secure? I would show you a pic but I don't know how to get it on here.
