are the lenses on the aftermarket tails just as hard to get off unscaved as the stock tails. if not. i was thinking of painting the chrome housing of my tails black. would that work?? and how would i go about removing the lense if there easy to get off?? any help would be apreciated. thanks
Aftermarket lenses are more than likely going to be easier to remove, since most all are actually glued on (versus factory tails that are plastic welded).
But I would say that you send your aftermarket tails to Josh (IZN TRBL) before you try and remove the lense so you can have a back up copy, just in case BEFORE you try and remove the lense.

ive read that but i really dont feel safe cutting them. i dont have the money to replace them and i just sold my stockers. i dont really want to risk it
unfortunately, thats what customizing is all about. taking risks and spending a bit more time and money than you would like.
id suggest you save some money to purchase another set of tails from a yard or ebay if customizing is something you are really looking forward to doing. good luck with everything man and let me know if you have any questions. ill do my best to help you out.
