Okay, I get the gisst of how to remove the yellow parts from the turn signals on the 03+ headlights, by question though is if done right how likely is it for the headlights to leak after they have been opened? Thanx.
Not likely to leak if you seal it back up when you're done. I'll tell you after the weekend is out.

thanx man, I just want to know the probablity of leakage, i planned on usin the sealent recommended i just don't want to do it and ruin perfectly fine headlights with moisture exposure, thanx.
i used the proper rtv sealant.
and ive had them sealed for about 2 weeks, it rained once, and it hasnt leaked.
just remember to follow the directions. and wait till it fully cures, before putting it back on. and you are set.
if you wanted a part number. i am able to get you that and the price

umm...about 8 months with mine clear..never any problems with leakage
I actualy had a bigger problem with them getting fog and water in them before I took them apart.
