03+ CF Trunk?
Saturday, March 04, 2006 11:56 AM
Just wondering if anybody knew of one for the 03+ model Cavaliers. I know they got them for like 99 models. Saw it in our Arrow Speed Catalog at work.

I want one for my car so I was curious.

I believe the 95-02 trunk lids are the same as the 03-05 ones

Thanks

ehhhh... you know for sure? you put an 02 CF Trunk on your 03-05?

i'm actually planning on shaving off most of the lights anyway, have 2 round lights similar to the Cobalts. Instead of having the standard Cavy looking tails. I saw a picture of some once, but I can't find the picture.

anyways, thanks for the info and get back at me on a for certain. pictures would be good.

thanks!

I popped on an 95-02 normal trunk on my 05, so I would assume the CF trunks are no different.

yes you just have to order the one for the 03-05 cav insted of the 95-02

or you could just knock the all the mounting points off the reflector except the couple on the outside edge where the normal inners would mount.

why not just put all these question in your thread instead of jacking a thread and making a new one?

yes if the holes are too small, get a slightly bigger bit and drill it til the tails fit

you should of searched before you bought the lid. this is 1 of the reasons i dont have a cf lid. also wait til you get it on. its not gonna line up right and your gonna have to do some work to get it to line up and not leak water

exactly why I only want to buy parts that are made to fit my car...

because there are some small differences in the 03-05 body styles.

I just did this today actually.. you need to squeeze that orange thing together and push it towards the lock so you can pull the black cable piece off. then the lock comes right out. I don't know if that sounds confusing or not but i tried heh.

Thanks
