NYJ-body Flip Flop Trunk

On the NYJ-body site they have an easy set up to put a flip flop trunk in on our cars with like 2 hinges and 4 bolts. Is it really that easy? I'm sure most of us are aware of the NY-Jbody library part with all the how to's and their usually pretty good, so is this something that will turn into a nightmare?

it's a very easy mod to do, and if done right won't be a hassle. there's plenty of instructions on here as well if you search for flip flop trunk.

flip flop trunk is an easy mod to do. more than likely you'll want to change it back to stock after a month or so. i know that after i did it, i changed it back after a few weeks. some people have had trouble with it not closing all the way and others have had problems with leaks. if you follow the directions it should close just like stock and you shouldn't have any problems.

i did mine with the 2 hinges and 4 bolts and have no problems, it doesnt sit completely flush, but it doesnt leak either, the only thig you need to be careful of it that the bolt heads dotn hit each other, the hinge needs to be abot to close the whole way
