the streetfire kit is made out of polyurethane, which is much better than fiberglass. because of that, it'll fit up very well without needing any modification to fit. if it's a brand new kit, you'll have to drill the screw holes. along the kit, you'll see little indentations marking where to drill the holes. if it's used, those holes will already be drilled, so you just bolt it on.

^^^ Pretty much

No molding required or anything too fancy except a little trimming of your front crush guard (think I left the rear one completely in-tact.)

Accept the fact that it may not bolt right up the way the stock one did. I used a few washers here and there to get it aligned right on the driver's side while the pass. side went in perfectly.

Trust your eye and take that little extra time to make it perfect, rather than "eh...that'll do, I guess."

i didn't trim my front crush guard at all and it fit perfectly. correct me if im wrong, but don't you only have to trim the crush guard if it's a sunfire gt?

I know I did trim that front guard, but I can't remember why. Maybe the bumper was being pushed out by it, possibly? I'm not one to go the difficult route if I don't have to, that's for sure.

^^^Any chance I could get some more pics of that hood with that front? Almost went with it a year ago when I did this kit, but demanded my money back when they tried to screw me over on the order status multiple times.

Yea, what those two said. I did not need to trim my crush guard at all. I would suggest tho to actually put the bumper up and make sure the holes line up. I just drilled the holes from the indendations, and it did not line up perfectly.

Yea, I love that hood with the streetfire front. I've only found it in carbon fiber tho, any idea if there is a regular verion (non-carbon fiber)?
