So I have been recently looking into a body kit for my 1997 chevy caviler. I'm new to the whole body kit thing and i was wondering what most of you would look for... pros /cons of polyurethane and fiberglass, what's a “good Price”, and any other good ideas that you can add. I really need your help.
well if you dont know much about kits and have never driving a car that has a kit and even worse lowered w/ a kit, then i suggest a urethane kit. it will be more durable and will flex more for you. glass kits break fairly easy but they can be fixed and modded alot easier than a urethane kit. a urethane kit will run about double what a glass kit cost and they also fit very well
^^^what he said
Urethane is the way to go. Yes, it's more expensive, but it fits better, will flex MUCH more.... unlike fiberglass which doesn't flex much at all, and you'll end up having to repair more when it cracks/having to get it repainted, etc.
^^ What they said. If you're new to kits and everything, then urethane is the way to go, if you accidentally drag it or anything it won't break. Fiberglass, on the other hand, breaks pretty easily.
