Has anyone painted or replaced it? I seen it removed on the 03 sunfire. Really Im more interested if anyone has actually done it and not looking very tacky.
Grey looks so ghey on white!
I painted the one on my Grand am (same type of grill), but I only just went over it with a silver rattle can. It looked real shard against the black car, but I had to repaint it every three months just cause of rock chips.
Send it to Josh (IZN TRBL) to get color Chromed... it'd look badass!!
My Car Domain
I painted mine. They turned out fine.
Sorry that's the only picture I have online at the moment. PM me if you want more.
Yeah painting same color of the car was my first choice.
not tooooo crazy about chrome.
I would caution against painting them the same color as the car (unless it's black)
there is a bright yellow sunfire, and a rally yellow sunfire in the jbo gallery (2001+ SEMA pictures), the bright yellow one has a color matched grill, the other has a billit grill with color matched accents, both look odd. in my opinion, black is the best option, semi-gloss.
Best color is black...

I've got mine primed, painted and cleared.
I'd say go with black also.
Hello local jbodian, Anything to have the grey off!
I had somewhat removed that plastic piece, but I put it back together. I did check out that one yellow sunfire with the same colored grill, which I might say looks a bit odd.
Anyways... Thanx guys!
