ok i had the chance to install my toyota tails and everything went well till i did the right tail light.
i cut the white wire in the signal lever (for sure) and i hooked up my left side tails according to instructions. Left tails work fine signal, brake, and lights. I Hook up the right side just like the left and signal works with amber, brake with red but when i turn on my headlights or running lights the right amber lights come on too.
any know how to solve this? i followed instructions, brown from both sockets to brown, black to black, and green to the last remaining wire from the amber socket, while the brake socket is hooked up to the white one from my spoiler...
anyone? thanks.

Get a test light and see which ones on the faulty side is park, brake, and turn... if you have some extra wire, you can make your own test light using one of the bulbs from the tail light itself.
From there, you can hook up the wires accordingly. It sounds like you just might have had the park light crossed to the wrong bulb. Also, might want to check to make sure the correct bulb is in the correct socket....
