I want to make my car shine. I've got an electric buffer, but want to know what products to really really make it shine. I'm talking soap, polish and wax. Any recommendations?

Meguiars NXT. I love that wax.. it's pretty much all I use anymore.
Step 1. Meguires Cleaner Wax
Step 2. Meguirs Glaze no. 7 (use in place of polish, glaze is finer than polish, or so meguirs tells me.)
Step 3. Meguires No. 26 Hi-Tech Yellow wax (smells like bannanas)
Thats what I use, I did it today, by hand cause i didnt have polishing pads and i am too poor to buy more atm.
Emor8t, You must have spent all the money on the leaf blower, and a tank of gas for it.
Gotta keep on livin', L-I-V-I-N
GriotsGarage.com They have everything and it's the best. its the stuff Ferrari owners use.
first use Paint Prep and that takes all the old waxes off
then use the clay, that gets all the dirt and @!#$ off and the car will look great
then use Show Car Wax, best wax out there.
they sell kits so it can be cheaper, but there stuff is not cheap. I think $20 for a 16oz bottle of wax. I use the speed shine for between waxes and i have no swirl marks. My family wont use anything else on the cars they care about.

Zaino! Check out their website and look at some of the cars on there! This is my first year using this but a local guy had done his Camaro with it and I was sold!
