I should've posted this on this forum instead. But anyway, I wanna get the eyelids for my Sunfire, and fill the holes in my trunk. I went to a shop in Indy and they wanted to charge me $450 for the hood and $225 for the trunk. (all that painted, yes it's not only a touch up, but they are painting the whole trunk and hood.) And $275 and $100 without getting it painted. What do you think? Does it sound reasonable?
yeap
*************Yea i spell liek wrong get over it*****************
** If i write in caps its cause im @ work and i can only write in caps cause the keyboard is a retarded CAPS only keyboard.**
i got my trunk filled and painted for 50
and my hood could be done for about 100
but the guy allowed me to do the prep work and only pay for materials. He also said i could paint my hood.... however, im not sure if i'll be able to do the hood because last i heard he was thinkin about closin the shop.
hopefully, he doesnt.
I'd ask around as many people as you could to see if you can get any deals. maybe a friend of a friend can cut ya a better deal on painting or whatever
^^^well, im having my front bumper and sideskirts done for cost of materials, and thats about $400 with prep. At those prices, did you have old paint laying around? or is it cheap paint?
IM getting my entire type j kit painted and preped, a new trunk with the holes filled in and painted and prepped for about 900 which isnt bad so id say you range is pretty good.
