Are these mirrors "trustworthy"?

Anyone dealt with or purchased from them? I've wanted to get some M3 mirrors for my 03 Cav for a while now.. but I don't wanna get stuck with the ones that stick out like goofy ears.

TIA

dont get them unless you are willing to double check before making lanes changes, and want them to lean a little bit when installed...the only thing good about them is that it cancels out wind noise when at cruising speeds.

I got the F1 mirrors off ebay and i'm going to paint them the color of my sunfire, the seller has 66 stars for history so it's your choice. I would get them and if i didn't like them then turn around and sell them.

Well I have my mirrors like that adjusted to where i have no blind spots and have no problems changing lanes.. actually I kind of trust them more than the stock mirrors now that I am so used to them lol. They do angle up some.. but it isnt too bad really. It is just up to you. If you don't like them do what Omar Delara said and sell them goodluck!

Thanks

Angling up is what I'm mostly worried about. I've seen some pictures of M3's that are OEM fit and they didn't lean.. Shaun, could you post pictures of yours and how they "lean"?

i have the 4 door version minus the signal light......they're okay, but they are a hell of alot smaller than the stock mirrors and sometimes it effects your vision out of them. and if you have a stereo, man they bounce like hell and make it reaaally hard to see out of then..

and btw, those are really over priced, if you keep lookin around on there you can find a cheaper set.

good luck with em though!

That's the thing.. I saw sets as cheap as $20 - $25 but I figured those would be the ones that aren't OEM fit, and would have crappy field of vision.

Hrothgar, are the one's you have the APC ones or the Erebuni ones or what? Is there any difference between those brands?

One other question. If someone with the M3 mirrors could take some measurements of the glass itself, as well as how far away from the body the glass starts, I'd GREATLY appreciate it. I'm thinking I could mask off the stock mirror to at least get an idea of what kind of viewing area the M3's would give me.

TIA
