Hey guys,
My car has recently hit 110,000 miles on her and I've started to notice certain careas on the underbody (under each door, next to the side skirts on the frame and other misc areas) that are starting to rust. I am planning on keeping my car for a couple more years and was wondering what options I have to stop this problem before it goes bad. Thanks for the help.

undercoating in a spray can?

get ride of it now before it spreads.... eather have fun sanding it all off or just sand the paint off and then take it in to get sand blasted. then primers... base coat...clear...
so do you want a new paint job? this would be a good time to do it!
^^^ what he said will not stop it it will just cover it up.
well since its on the under side, and it hasn't gotten too bad, you could use navel jelly to clean it, use a paint brush. after you clean it off then the under coating stuff will work, there are also paints that will inhibit new rust from forming as well.
When I got my car painted, I had all the rust ground off, then finished up with a sand blaster. The once it was clean, bare metal, it was primed and painted as usual. No more rust.
