i started to paint some parts of my car with dupont base/clear, it looks great except for when light hits it and you right close 8 inches away you can slight and i mean slightly see a little orange peel, what has caused this, when i buff it will it go away?
probably a good wetsanding and buff will clear it up, mine did
yeah wetsand it then buff and it will go away. shouldnt be hard at all.

do you ever notice that the ones who talk the loudest have the least to talk about?
Its caused by laying the paint on too heavy, on a side note its not the worst thing to have because its that much more clear on the car to allow for wear and buffing of scratches - look at a brand new car, they usually have a little as well.
base &200 Clear $100 Orange peel $free having to scuff and buff priceless
Orange peel is NORMAL. Go to any car lot, there will be orange peel on all of them... there is nothing wrong with orange peel.
Only way to get rid of it is to wetsand and buff... but you want to be careful with that because like stated earlier, there will be less clear on your car to protect your paint.
