Headlight Question
Saturday, April 22, 2006 5:14 PM
Hey, I have a 2005 Pontiac Sunfire and I was looking into getting some nicer whiter headlamps. I was at Canadian Tire today looking at Silverstars, and I couldnt find a bulb that fit my car. They had one for the 00-02 Sunfires, but I dunno if they would work with my car since the 00-02's had one bulb for high and low beams. There was no number/code for a bulb that would fit my car listed either. Also, according to my owners manual I need a H-11 bulb, and I dont think I saw anything with H-11 on it. The ones that fit the 00-02 Fire had the number 9007ST I believe. So I basically wanna know if there is a Silverstar bulb that will work on my car, and if not, what other whitish lights will work for me?

Thanks! And sorry if its been posted before, I'm disabled when it comes to using the search.

Silverstar does not make a H11 bulb. You gonna have to find some other bulbs to use.

PIAA makes H11 bulbs. They are brighter than stock but color isnt much different. Just not quite as yellow as stock bulbs. Are you wanting brighter bulbs or are you looking for more color? I'd sell my PIAAs for $40 shipped.

Yea I'm more so looking for colour, but I'll look into those PIAA's. Any other H11 bulbs I could look into out there?

Yes Nokya makes the H11 as well. The light output from the Nokya bulbs are weak but the color is usually very nice.
