Has anyone tried or heard of anyone trying to swap a Cobalt front end to a 03-05 Cavalier or to any Cavalier for that matter?
Nope. Since they are based on two completely different platforms (and thus the swap isn't merely plug and play), most have been discouraged from attempting to do it.
Yeah that's what I thought since it was a different platform,
Not to mention it'd be impossible to find a Cobalt front end for a good price...
are we talkin about those small modifier cars?
i dont think it would look good at all. cobalt looks bigger, and has a more chiseled front end, whereas the cavy is smoother.
but it could be done.
chuck norris outran a cavalier. he just stood still.
I also highly doubt that a cobalt to cavalier front end swap would work without MAJOR body panel mods.
The cobalt is based on the Delta Platform, whereas the cavi, is the J-Body.
If you were to swap a cobalt with a Saturn Ion, that could work, but I doubt you'd want to put the time, money and effort into a cobalt to cavalier swap
Freakin morons.... When will they learn. Hold On Not Done Accelerating

I fixed a cobalt front end a couple weeks ago, It resembles the grand am, malibu structure. They are about 6 inches longer than the cav. You might be able to put a cobalt front on a grand am , you may have a real mess trying it with a cavy.
