Use that method, then turn your car... and put into drive and turn your headlights on. Make sure you engage both highs and lows.. If your DRL light in your cluster starts to flash after a couple mins. You'll have to disable your DRL's for good. This is what happend with my car after i just did the swap to mine for the type J-kit. Remove your dash inside the car and the wire harness going into your gauge cluster, the thin Dark blue wire comming out of pin B8 cut. No more DRL's and working lights with no flashing DRL light.

Also make sure if they worked fine teh first time u tested em out, then u drive for a bit and one goes dim..
first thing to do is check the fuse

lmao......after I finished doing mine (2k to 99 style). It was months down the road, one of mine went dim. I bought new bulbs, etc....and it turned out to be a fuse.

Convert 00+ headlights to 95-99
