Body kit tips and tricks
Wednesday, June 14, 2006 5:01 PM
Hey, I just recently perchased a BMX full body kit(front, side skirts, and rear) I have prefitted the front and sides, but not the back.....the reason is that i did not find an easy way to mount the stock l brackts to the new kit, but i have recently remedied the problem. I faberglassed the mounts to the new bumper, and it seems to be stury, althoughi have not fitted it, because i sent it off to paint right after my fiberglassing adventure was over.....i just got th kit back from paint, and i was wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks, hints helpful criticism, etc.....any help is greatly appreciated. This is my first time, and i have alreayd put $800 into this kit, i just don wanna (#*($_ it up. Thanx guys

The Bomex rear is made to fit over your stock bumper. Just slip it over and put a couple screws in the wheel opening area.

i made some steel brackets to go in between the bumper and car but thats it, along with the L bracket and wheel well screws. but i also added 3-4 layers of glass on the inside of my bumbers and skirts.
