have u guys had any trouble with mechanics being able to put ur car up on a lift?...i took my car in to get aligned and they called me back asking for me to pick up my car and take the kit off cus they couldnt put it on the lift...hahaha...i was wondering if anyone else with bc2 sides had this problem before...thanks in advance
been there... done that... dont expect to get it up on a lift how it sits now. All you have to do is drive it up onto some 2x4s and it should give you enough room to get under there. If your machanics couldnt figure that out or didnt want to do it i would find some new mechanics
^agreed.
i can't get my jack under the sides. so ye ai just dirve it up on some wooden ramps i made and it works fine.
yup my mechanic has 2x4 in his garage for when he works on my car. if you should just bring some with you when you go to places like that
i assumed they wouldve done that...i had a friend of mine install my coilovers...and he did the 2x4 thing...i didnt have a kit on then and this time i took it to merchants and they couldnt get it up so i
assumed they tried everything out...and u know what happens when u assume...sigh...hehe anways just wanted to make sure....i wasnt sure if the bc2 sides made it impossible to lift...cus when they told me i was like wtf....sheet im not gunna rip off the skirts cus i just put them on......but anyways thanks i appreciate it...didnt wanna end up destroying the kit...

i have bc2...i work at a dealership. the feet on our lift actually are 2 seperate peices, and hinged. (they are the scissor type lifts) and they hinge upward...the larger foot hinged upward lifts my car just fine, plenty of clearance between the lift and my skirt.
it all depends on the type of lift being used, but if they cant juryrig something up, then they arent very good mechanics!!
