with the 03+ sideskirts going on a pre 03 car the 03's have material sorta like a scrape guard that goes under the car, what do you guys do to mount the skirts to the car then or did you just cut that off?

I'll try to explain this as best as possible for you. I just installed a set of the same side skirts on my '02. When i got the side skirts those little brakets on the inside were missing, which ended working out just fine. I used painters tape to mock up the side skirts exactly how they were supped to be. I then marked where the holes are on the sides, and crawled underneath my car and marked on the underbody where those little holes are. I layed down 3m double-stick tape on the inside of the side skirts where thay attach underneath then car, and then attached them completely with body bolts like the ones used to secure the front bumper. So far so good. I haven't had any problems with them wanting to fall off or anything of that nature.
that made total sense is there a place underneath setup for those holes already or did you drill right into the undercarriage?
I drilled right into the undercarriage. The area that is going to be drilled into is behind those rails underneath the car. once you get them mocked up you'll understancd what needs to be done
Or you could just sell me the sides
not gonna happen sorry but i have 95-02 z24 sides up for sale as does the gf, hers are black as well
