Well i have spent the better half of this week trying to find a place who would give my car an alignment. I checked out a total of 10 different places local to me and only 2 out of the 10 would even consider giving my car an alignment. Even the top brand name stores- Good Year, Firestone, Monroe, Kost tire, 3 chevy dealerships, 1 midas.... The local high end performance car repair shops which i know would have touched it, was backed up for pushing more than a week... So this afternoon i went to Home depot and bought a 8foot piece of 2X10 and had them cut it in half.. as i needed a way to clear the gutter at the end of my driveway. I brought the board with me in the cav, which fit nicely in the trunk BTW, and tried the last place i could think of.... Pepboys.
... For the first time EVER... i recieved Phoenominal service there and one of the younger kids said he would try it for me... PROGRESS! It would not go on the lift as it was, so i whipped out the board, and the car maybe had 1 inch worth of clearance between the bumper bottoming out on the lift....
So needless to say... i got the last thing accomplished i needed to do before i can mount the 18"s to the car....
The kid was very tedious at not hurting my car and probably the best service i ever recived there...
Also tipped him $10 bucks on the side for doing what other places wouldn't even have attempted. Anyone else have this much trouble?
some places just dont like to be liable for things that low

haha theres a guy by my place who specializes in alignment..and he has a special lift for lowered cars...one of those flat lifts where all u do is drive into the garage...theres a dugout pit in the floor so theres no need to jack the car...i was like shweet...but yea it took a while before i found a place that could accomodate a lowered vehicle...good thing that dood was so careful with your car the pepboys by me sucks booty service wise
