Broken stud.... I dont know if it will be covered under warranty or not....all that needs to be done is having a new stud put on.

um you dont need to weld anything
go to a parts store and get a new stud and a lug nut remove your wheel remove the hub puond out the broken stud and pound the new stud back in the hole
there are a few step by step guides with pictures on how to replace studs in the maintenance forum. here's the one i used when i needed to replace one of mine.

even if its not covered, it only costs like $3 for a new wheel stud and takes hardly any time to put the new one in.
thanks for the info. im glad its not expensive 2 repair. i was like wtf it just came off. is there a reason why it might have came off so easy???

this happen to me 2 weeks after i got my 98 i was thinking the same thing as u but its really easy to fix.mine snapped off be cause i crosstreaded it
well i took it to the dealership and guess what???? yup it was covered. they replaced 2 of them. i dont know y but who cares IT WAS FREE!! so this means that i have money for my pirelli tires to go along with my Kyowa Racing KR518 wheels. i hope they look good since i have not seen them on a J. thanks again guys for the info
