i have a chance to buy an 03 cavie cheap. the only problem is it needs a driver door ( easy fix) and the driver rocker panel. my question is how much is the rocker panel and where can i get one? anyone that has installed one how hard is it? if this is in the wrong section sorry

I've instaled passenger door on my Sunfire (I think it should be pretty much the same for Cavalier). There's 4 bolts that hold door in place; I'm not sure about wiring harness. Check if there any plugs you could pull and take the harness off. I used offset wrenches to tighten those bolts (on the dooors side). My hinges were fine so I didn't want to take them off. The door itself is quite heavy, so I would advise you to have your friend(s) to assist you. I used red thread lock on my bolts because of constant opening/closing those bolts get loose.
Rocker panel should be pretty much straight forward, I think it's only screws (at least it's only screws on my Sunfire).
The best source for stock parts is dealership; bran new, excellent fitment, but quite expensive. Next is junkyards, but it's pretty hard to find parts for new cars there. Look on e-Bay; sometimes there's something you'd be interested in.
