I dont usually do this but I was on ebay the other day and found these.
Headlights

There are quite a few. Just wondering if anyone has bought these and how are they. Thanks
there not anything new.. been out for a couple weeks..
i know atleast 3 people have em one being CRJ.. so maybe theyll see this
Your killing me here, no-one has ever had these or know someone that has?
they've been around way longer than a few weeks. but its cheaper to buy the black corners from Jason at A+ and then black out your stock headlights. see sig for example. people have been doing it that way for a long time, and it comes out just as good if you know what you're doing.
i told you people have them, but here are some pics.. and i meant to say a couple months.. not weeks..
CRJ(Like i said had em if u just searched for him)
Eazy(color changed tho)
Random car from LNDONZ24 JCO Album(i changed the color also)
i like those headlights, i wish i knew how to do it
id love to get my hand on a set
Blacking out the 2000-2002 headlights:
1: remove headlights
2.take an exacto or razorblade and slowly cut around the headlight lens and the housing
3.slowly pull on the lens and seperate the lens from housing (if its not coming smoothly trim the silicone a bit more)
4.clean up the silicone where its going to seal again
5.i used 800 grit sandpaper to sand the parts you want to paint til it was down to the plastic
6.mask everything you dont want painted
7.clean the areas you want paint to go a couple times with rubbing alcohol
8.i used krylon fusion for plastics and did a couple light coats
9.i let mine thoroughly dry for a day
10.unmask and clean the housing
11.put lens on housing and resilicone
12.reinstall newly painted headlights
i have a set, and to be honest there are better than the stock ones. There are Full SEA, And DOT stamped, The reason why I bought mine was becasue I did not want to F around with opening my head lights and risk a chance of them leaking..
I'm very happy with them, the other good reason for me is that in the winter time my car turns into a beater becase I drive it to a ski hill every weekend and I did not want to fuuk them up with stone chips, So now When the season starts i can swap out my black ones, use the stock ones all winter, then come next spring I still have minty fresh lights,
also they came with Silvana silver stars..
here is a pic..
I notice that the bottom of the actual headlight is painted black on some and not the others. Is that only on the ones you buy black? I have my corrners done now and I'm about to do the headlights. I don't want to get them painted and put back together only to have to buy new headlights!!
fast, reliable or cheap. choose two.
Most of the people who paint theres don't paint the bottom. The ones for sale come painted.
IMO, the painted bottom looks much better.
I painted the bottom as well, love the darker look it makes. Doesn't effect the light output though.
ive got them aswell. was just easir to get em when doing the 00-02 upgrade.

yeh i didnt paint the bottom of mine.. but thats what i like about the new ones.. i need to buy some new headlights and corners anyway cuz mine have some lil problems so when i do i plan to buy those combos.. Also to protect my headlights im gonna invest in some clear headlight covers.. have em on all the time cept at shows or photoshoots..
Just a question but has anyone got or make these headlights for Sunfires?

What year sunfire do you have. If you have the later model then you wouldnt see the black to much from the wavy lense. Get me on AIM if you have questions.
I bought the black corners off ebay back when they didn't have the complete sets and then painted my headlights, I painted about 1.5-2 in back into the light on the bottoms, really easy little project.
^ where did that peice that sits infront of the bulb go?
You can see what i mean in this pic below.. its like a cap that covers the bulb.. did u remove it? Also if u did, what did it do for output? improve or make ur light output worse? Just kinda curious..

enough money menaing $565. As nice as it would be to have Prijectors, not for the price. I think for the works, it came out to $680 or so. Thanks for the info. Just a matter of time before the desicion.

Haha I thought no one would ever notice that, yeah I took them out and left'em because I thought they looked restrictive.
I really don't know if its actually brighter or not and don't care that much.
Can the stock corners be opened and painted?
