ok, so i was really bored today and i thought i would paint my trunk bezel white to see if i like it, and if i didnt i'd paint it black.
when i painted my handles they basically match the body paint... but my trunk bezel does not. you may be able to tell from the pics, but its noticable in person.
anywho, i took 2 pics and photoshoped it black to see what it would look like.
give me your vote!!

i think it'd look good if it was white and matched ur body paint. i think the black looks kinda strange to me. maybe it'd look better black if u painted the inside of the lisence plate area black too

my whole thinking behind painting it black as a "all else fails" is thats the color it is stock...lol
getting the white to match would be a hurdle as well...

i like the white.. what color primer did u use when u painted? also how many coates of white did u put on?

The white definitely looks better. In my opinion, a color matched trunk panel always looks so much better than a black one.

You could always get some estimates from local body shops to have it painted. Mine was only around $100 to have painted and it matches perfectly. Just my .02 though.

the same thing happened when i painted my mirrors...they match really close, but i'm a perfectionist to notice it

white. black just makes it look like a stock rear like every other sunfire out there.

tru... but i wont have any trouble matching it and it wont cost me anything to paint it black... lol

the white is wearing on me... i think im going to pick up a nother can of paint to see if it matches better... i think i used Krylong White Satin finish on my handles... whereas i used reagular white on my bezel.
