Flame Thrower Kit
Thursday, July 13, 2006 3:22 PM
Im purchased a flame thrower kit and the company wants me to install the spark plug on the tip of the muffler. I own a free flow muffler and dont want the plugs to be seen. Will it hurt the muffler to install the plugs behind it and send the flames through? Also the kit cuts of the car engine which leaves it running off momentum that causes the car to shoot out raw un-burnt fuel that is ignited by the spark plugs. Does this hurt the engine?

-thanks

I would assume the whole thing would hurt that car

do you have ur cat converter removed? If not it wont work..

and if u have ur muffler mounted right u could mount it on top of the tip and use the bumper to hide the plug sticking out of the tip..

and ur not supposed to use it on road or while moving.. its supposed to be used in N or P as to be used with rev.. dont expect to be driving and just push the button.. i wouldnt think that would be to good to have strain on the engine and to cut
it off..

yea, but if your that close to the bumper with fire from raw unburnt gas, how long do you think youre bumper will last?

Bad idea a cat will get killed if you dump raw gas threw it along with ur o2 sensors. if you want a flame thrower use a propane kit. simply to construct and saves your car unless u don't have a cat but still could hurt the car.

I hope you have a good fire extinguisher on board ! Rubber bumpers and flame throwers don't mix well !

Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.

putting a spark plug in your exhaust is a cheap way to shoot flames imo.
