how would i go about removing my mirrors and door handles on my 00 sunfire. thanks

Not sure on sunfires but on my cavalier for the handles lift them up and there should be two rivets you need to drill out and then pull out the handle and pull the locking mechanism off the handle and make sure it doesnt fall back down in the door. For the mirrors on the inside of your car door above the panel there is a small panel held by a phillips head screw remove that and then there should be two nuts you need to take off then pull the mirror from the outside and itll come off. I have manual mirrors so i didnt have any wires.

Just tape the door/window off really good and save yourself a bunch of time. I wouldn't really worry about painting the underside of the handles because you don't really see them. And there is three bolts holding the mirrors in
