Seriously, hubcaps come on. How do these things go on!?? I have a set of the 03-05 cav ones and I can't get the plastic lug covers off! Do you take those off somehow, take off the lugs, put on hubcaps, put back on lugs, then the lug nut caps?
I need help asap, I'm going to trade my car into the dealer I can't take it w/o these on!!!!!! so please help!!!
Are u serious?
The 5 plastic lugs on the hubcap should screw onto the lugnut. The lugnut has a thread that will accept the plastic lugs from the cap. No need to take anything apart, just position the cap on (might have to push a little) and turn the plastic lugs until they thread onto the back of the lugnut that holds the rim and tire on the hub. To take off it's the reverse, undo the plastic lugs, and gently loosen the hub cap.

great, I don't have the stock lug nuts. So i guess Im *&^%'d
u can buy some from a junk yard, or maybe swap some? with some one that wants some without the threads...
If it were me, and the dealer was being tight about it, i would seriously just spend the money and buy a full set just to satisfy the deal. I wouldn't leave it up to the dealer to replace them as they will probably take the difference off your trade in value. Also they will probably charge you the retail price rather then the cost price that most dealers get them for....

Yeah I'm goin to the junkyard tomorrow.....they'll fit in the bag so their free.
Throw some of those AWESOME spinner hubcaps on it... that should bring the trade in value WAYYYYYYYYYY up...... lmfao
I plan on living forever... so far so good
roflmfaoomgomgroflomg...no.
I have an extra set of hubcap lugnuts in my garage in case you cant find any....i can ship them to you.
Could always try AutoZone/Advanced/etc.
I wouldn't bother with the stockers.
I had nothing but problems with them. From the day I drove the cavlier off the lot the peices of crud
squeaked. I took it back to the dealer on several occations and they installed "insulators" or 3m double sided tape.
. They even went as far as to order new stock hubcaps. I didn't even get out of the dealers parking lot and they started to squeak.
So after some convincing on my part they agreed to alow me to buy my own aftermarket hubcaps. I haven't had a problem since!
you want it WHEN??
