I have a 97 sunfire. Im looking to upgrade the lighting to the bluish xenon type bulbs. I know the headlights are size 9007 but I was wondering what the deal was the daytime running lights. I havent had a chance to mess with it yet but was wondering if it is a seperate bulb and if so what size? My other question is does anyone know where to find the clear bumper lenses or turn signal lenses they could be called for that year sunfire. Alot of the usual sites dont have them and Im really not that trusting of ebay products after some good and bad luck with past products. Thanks in advance.

well the drl are just the same bulb you have to disconnect them. if you look at the stickey at the top of the page it tells you how as for the lens i cant help you im a cavi guy

I would just get the clear front bumper signals on eBay. That's where everyone on here gets them and I haven't heard of anyone having any problems with them. Just my .02 though.

As far as the drls I dont want to lose them I just didnt know if it was a different bulb or does it just run through the headlight bulb. I didnt want the nice xenon look when the headlights are on and the normal light look when the drls are on. I was wanting them both to match.

On your year of Sunfire, the DRLs are the high-beams run at a reduced wattage (probably around 40 or so).
