Alright. I know I misled yall with the title, but I need help. I'm at work, (oustide on my sidekick- I'm a pool guy), so my internet access is crappy... And at home I'm stuck on dialup.
Anyway- checked on my car in the shop today and decided I hate the carbon fiber food I had made (JUN style), it doesn't match the rest of the pieces I'm putting on. So I need a new cf hood, and FAST
What are my options jbody gurus?
I know I can get an oem, or a vis invader hood, but I can't find decent pics of it, just vague and far away shots.
So I need a carbon fiber hood
For a pontiac sunfire 95-02
And fast.
Please help me! Compile my options for me
I want a carbon fiber extractor hood, but I don't know if there is even one for the fire.
So all you trollers and guys with webshops- I'm at yalls mercy

The invader hood is not a bad looking hood at all, does it direct rain somewhere when it goes into the vent?

Nope. Its not that great, and the grills weren't installed before delivered as promised (tim hansen is a cock). It was an oem cf hood then the two triangles and squares were cut out before the underside bracing was attatched.
And you need to call me about those cf parts man! Car will be out of the shop soon....
And don't hijack my post yall! I need some help! Whatever cf hood I can get needs to be shipped before the week ends! So what can I get?

ok, so after a day of sidekicking my way through the net, including talking to yall- it seems I have 4 options: oem, invader, evo, and rksport ram air (classglassperformance)... is there nothing else? the invader is cool and all but still curious. I thought for sure there were others...
Oh! and correction* in my first post I said extractor hood. I had a mental lapse... what I was thinking was the aerogear predator hood. haha!
If anyone wants to buy the rksport ram air I have, or the JUN style- IZN TRBL- think the orange supra from the first fast and the furious (i know) THAT hood. That one is now officially for sale too if anyone wants it. I do have ONE small picture of it, but its on my computer in baton rouge, so Ill post it this weekend.
Go with the Evo hood...looks nice and not many have it, I think one other than myself.
Here it is on my old car...still working on transfering it to the new one which I picked up yesterday.
Ok, looks like the invader hood. Yes, I like the evo hood, but it presents the same problem the cf hood I have now does- water yes fabrication is an option but... Eh. That and the invader will match the new lines better I think. In any case, its gonna be an ebay special unless jason with a+ can beat the price and ship it today.

With the invader hood that I have, all that happens when it rains is that water gets on the plastic part of my AEM intake, that's it..
interesting, thanks. I ordered the invader hood on thurs, now im just playing the waiting game till it gets here. WHICH is of course, 10-15 days. SO yeah, car will be out of the shop with one of the other hoods. Then when the invader hood arrives, which will be like the day before i move, IF its not late, I'll put it on. Otherwise, ill have to cough up another 150 to ship the hood behind me to my new apartment in Dayton. Bleh. Always has to come down to the wire doesnt it?

Can someone take a pic of the hood from the windshield forward down into the vent? If this vent is closed then no air travels into the engine bay? Where is the best place to get one price wise??
