Hello,
I was just looking at trying to put a replacement LED bulb in the tail light, but have yet to see a picture of one done. Does anyone have a picture? If they work, where did you get them from? I'm not looking at a huge undertaking here, just a little different style.
Thanks!
Kevin
for taillights and turnsignals they will trigger the bulb out indicator and blink speed.. u need to get a reitor for each LED bulb u put in..
Don't use LED 3157's for the tails. They sit too far back and don't light up bright enough for the daytime as your brake lights.
But, if you do go that route, you will need either a load resistor or a flasher designed for use with LED bulbs.
Here's an old pic of some in my reverse light sockets, though.

Thanks guys, looks like it is too much messin around for the amount of time I wanted to spend on it!
I appreciate your comments!
Kevin
It's not that much extra time, however long it takes to change a bulb and either 2 quik-splices or a flasher
I bought the 1157 replacement LED bulbs.. as yall stated, they are not bright AT ALL. Is there any way to make them brighter? I hate that I spent the money and am not able to return them since they are opened.
I plan on living forever... so far so good
If you can find a way to make a spacer to get the bulb closer to the lens, that will help greatly.
HEHEHE, I gotta get my lazy butt off my chair and go wire mine in, btw thanks Kardain!!
