My front bumper has taken a beating and I am going to do the 00+ headlight swap. I am really liking the type j front but how would it look with the street fighter sides and rear? Is it about the same height or does it sit lower.
Are there any other fronts that would look better? I'd rather get a 00+ front so I don't have to cut it to fit the new lights.
could do Kato.. its the 00 streetfighter kit from AAS, the sides and rear are the exact same in the Kato kit.. only diff between the street fighter and kato is the front..
meh if I want something almost the same I'll just cut the one i have
I really like to look of the type j. I guess it's only in urethane though right. Know anyone who's selling one or another kit that flows better.
I was also thinking of going to the drift kit but I dunno how much lower that kit sits than the one I already have. My car has coilovers and there dropped all the way in the front
well streetfighter is more of a mild kit.. and drift is definatly lower.. u might want to look at Kato and see if u like the front.. its different then the streetfighter front.. but to go with the mild s/f kit, wing west Avenger or Big Mouth might be teh best solution to go with the rest of the kit... trying to think of other kits but my mind is drawin blank..
thats alright everything helps. I am very picky and have a hard time deciding these kinds of things
i have a 02 with a blitz front im doing a 95-99 swap, if you want i''ll trade you my front and headlights all the stuff you need to sawp for your front but i dont think you wanna drive to michigan for that. i thought i would let ya know.
no I don't wanna drive but I would do that.. The only thing is my front bumper is in less than great shape.
yea i dont blame ya, im not worried about the condition of the bumper so much right now.
so does that mean that your interested in trading? All I need for my swap is the bumper and the first foot of the wiring harness. the fenders from my car I can use and I already have the headlights. Let me know. We could always see what it would cost to ship.
why do u need teh first foot of wiring? wherever u cut the wiring doesnt matter as long as there is enough wire for ur to splice into each other.. u only wanna cut the headlight wires.. just thought i'd mention it..
thought it was easier to have a little more of the wiring
