Window Urethane to hold the skirts? I know how tough this is gonna be like to remove windows.
Im currerntly re-doing my skirts. Is it BAD or GOOD idea to use it on skirts to hold ON better?
I attached my streetfire sides that way, now that I'm most likely not going to paint them till next year I'm going to remove them, I'll let your know how it goes.
I finally got some!
How is it holding up yours right now? Is the urethane still soft?
Thanks for the reply!
Mines hardened actually, driven with it on for about 2 weeks now, in some really crappy weather. Held up great so far.
fiberglass or bond a bolt to the inside of your sideskirt one on the fender and one on the quarterpanel, then drill a hole in your quarter and your fender and use a nut to draw the sideskirt flush with the body. that way they are removable without cutting and removing glue.
Laffs- Thats good to know! Thanks for the replies!
Geeza Guru- Great idea! Thanks man!
One more question, How long does it take to dry up at its strength?
I should be able to get it done soon!! Cant wait!
man, I have had mine on for over 2 years, held up great so far! I had to peel the skirt back a little last year to remove the fenders, and it still had a gummy texture to it, not that hard at all. As far as drying up, I just used paint tape to hold it on for 24hrs, then it was good to go. I would do it again in a heartbeat!!
I must say, this stuff is the best!
I got em done!
It looks sharp! really happy now!!
