The polished intake I have on my Eco is all dirty and maybe has some heat stains. Is there anything special I can do get the spots off. And do I have to do anything special or be careful when cleaning it (will the tube crack when using some products)? Here is a really old pic, but you can still see some of the spots
have it prof. polished
or use some mothers shine
mothers aluminum/mag polish for the win.
Thanks, I will have to pick up a bottle of that. I was pretty sure they weren't permanent because I don't see how they could be. Also can I use that on the valve cover to (to get the dirt off)?
get the mini mothers power bacll, with the mother metla polish.... the power ball on the end of the drill will just barely fit inside the can of the cleaner and go to town.... works wonders, thats how I did my fiel rail and valve cover (for the actually polish it to a shine step, started with sandpaper)
Turtle wax chrome polish.
i recommend it on the valve cover

Yeah, that mag/aluminum polish works amazingly. I only did a small spot, but wow! Tomorrow I am gonna take some pictures before and after cleaning/dusting my engine bay. Thanks again for all the help...
