how do u adjust the headlight beam....my 03 sunfire's passinger side is way high.....i saw something that looked to be an anjustor but i turned it about 10 times in either direction and no change....im worried im blinding people

there should be 2 adjustment screws.. even tho they dont seem to move if u watch the headlight beam u can see it moving side/side or up/down.. best time to do it is at night 25ft from a wall on flat surface.. with some guide lines.. in the manual it should show u how to adjust em..

are they screws? cuz i saw what looked like postes commin from the frame to the headlight....with what looked to be some sort or adjustor.....ill try again tomorrow i guess

well the have threads and iknow on my 00 cav headlights and my old 96 headlights it was a small torx head that needed to be used to turn them, ill see about gettin u a pic of my manual to give u a idea

mine had 2 screws that stuck out above the lens...you could see when you looked behind the lens that they had gears attatched to them. i dont know what the hell kind of bit attaches to it...ive been looking for AGES...i always just use vise grips.

there ya go, i'd suggest in gettin a Chiltons or Haynes Manual from ur local parts store.. i bought the haynes and it was prolly one of the best $15 i've spent on my car..bought it back in 03 for my first cav(2000) and still have it and it works for this one(96) also becuz the 3rd gens are mainly all teh same minus looks.
