yea i know that ebay stuff isnt always as it seems..like seems too good to be true....but has anyone bought these vertical door hinges on ebay....i mean same stuff as what they sell on other websites for like 600 or 1200 or whatever they are....i mean come on like a grand for door hinges....ya gotta be kiddin me...these are somewhere in the neighbor hood of 250 300 and have the exact same parts as the expensive ones

Well, you could always buy better shocks for them so where else so they dont come slamming down.
their cheap for a reason. if you want quality stuff you need to spend money on quality parts. car modding isnt cheap.
i understand all of this but we are talkin about freekin door hinges.....hell if i had the plans for them i could make them and sell them....

its not the simple. alot of r&d go into this hinges. some do things others dont. like the ones that cost 1200 bucks are probably true vertical doors that open a full 90 degrees. your going to pa 300 bucks for them and they wont fit for @!#$ and 2 every little piece that can break on them, will break

ModifiedMotorosports makes a kit for cavaliers for $500 in the Group Purchase forum.. even then some people have problems with the struts blowing but joe can replace them so its just a lil hassle.. I can only imagine what the ebay ones are like.. Not to mention, im sure alot of the ebay ones copied the hinge design but did no strength tests or anything.. the hinges might not even bolt completely.. holes could be off and what not.. you just dont know what your getting.. Personally myself if i ever decide i want to mess with the lambos.. VDI or LSD will be the company i go through.. but their into the $1500 price range.. I know the LSDs let u open the door regular and then lambo if u want which seems to be a big problem with people with lambos.. for a DD i know most will suggest not to get em..

lets just say i know 2 people who bought the cheapo ebay hinges, and they suck!! destroyed both cars too
i paid 1500.00 for my VDI's when they were 1800.00.
this was a couple years ago too though.

if you see these in person, you will see that these are not exactly just cut pieces of metal.
