I want to install one on my cavalier but i just want to know if i need to purchase a relay wiring harness, for it as well??

Um. Are you planning on buying a full kit for Cavalier?

no you wont need a relay. i had that kit on my 03 and worked well.

I would get the relay kit. If something bad was to go wrong you could end up frying your stock harness. The relay harness will prevent this. I use a relay harness with my hids and always will. It safer to spend the money on relay then to spend the money on a new harness for your car later on.

yah true.


i never used one and had my hids on my 03 for about a year no problems.. now i have a hid kit on mt tc with out a relay and no problems yet.

ok, ive read that you need to reverse the connections somewhere, where negative goes to positive and vice-versa. if thats true, what connections are they that you have to switch?

it will be the 2 wires that go right in to the wire harness that gose to the head light.

I got that kit too. As for anything frying wouldn't your factory fuse still take care of that, thats what its there for

nope the harness goes something in the switch. Mine is gone due to one of my relays shorting out though, now that one was a little harder to see comming
